By completing, dating and submitting this form I
hereby grant and assign to The Avalon Literary Review the royalty-free rights to publish the piece titled
for publication in The Avalon Literary Review [ALR]. This assignment of copyright grants ALR the first right to publish this work in the edition of its choice and to prepare derivative works. This release does not preclude the author(s) from publishing the work elsewhere at a future date. It is the responsibility of the author(s) to notify any future publishers that the work first appeared in ALR and that ALR maintains the right to include the work in future anthologies or collections. The author(s) acknowledge that this work is original to him/her and has not been accepted by another publisher. The author(s) further acknowledge that the work is not libelous and does not infringe on any copyright or other proprietary right. The author(s) from the United States will receive three complementary copies of the issue in which their work appears. Authors outside the United States will receive a PDF of the issue in which their work appears.
